Master Sugar will be helped by Baroness Brady and previous Apprentice champ Tim Campbell for this series. Previous Apprentice champ Tim Campbell says it is a "significant privilege" to subdue for Lord Sugar's aide Claude Littner on the current year's show.
Littner, 72, will be missing from the sixteenth series of the One business program following a cycling mishap. Campbell, who turned into the very first Apprentice in 2005, said getting back to the show resembled coming "round trip."
"It was an incredible lament when we caught wind of Claude, who is a particularly gigantic piece of the establishment," he said. "We're delighted that he's progressing nicely, and he's taking a course for recuperation."
Littner's mishap happened last April while riding an electric bicycle. The 72-year-old harmed his right leg so gravely that specialists considered cutaway it. Accordingly, he couldn't film The Apprentice, so Campbell was relegated to follow the two groups alongside Lord Sugar's other assistant, Karren Brady.
Campbell joined Sugar's organization Amstrad on a £100,000 pay after winning the primary series in 2005.
"It's an amazing privilege to have ended up at ground zero," Campbell said. "Having been on the opposite side of the table, I most certainly get what [the candidates] are generally going through. Furthermore, it's a significant privilege to be working close by Baroness Brady in surveying these competitors and perceiving how they generally get on."
In any case, any up-and-comers who may have been anticipating some assistance from Campbell, as a previous hopeful, were left baffled. "It was straightforward not to give clues and tips since I didn't get any when it was my move!" he chuckled.
