Strong Winds And Waves Have Forced SpaceX To Cancel Astronaut Missions.

SpaceX has postponed the next astronaut mission to NASA until Wednesday due to strong winds and waves.
The video player is loading. Four astronauts are scheduled to embark on a six-month mission to the International Space Station (ISS) early Sunday. But while NASA's Kennedy Space Center predictions were near perfect, a severe storm in the northeast turned the seas upside down. A security flaw caused the manager to delay Saturday's start.
SpaceX needed good weather to the east coast and across the North Atlantic to Ireland to launch the crew if something went wrong and the capsule had to make an emergency landing. Quieter conditions are expected on Wednesday. Until then, one German and three American astronauts will stay at Kennedy.
This will be SpaceX astronauts' fourth flight to NASA in 1-1/2 years and the company's fifth passenger flight overall. Last month, SpaceX launched its first private flight, sending the billionaire and three guests into orbit.
