Outbreak in Iran : Police fire on houses, 15 dead in one day,
internet shut down in Kurdish areas
Women in Iran have been protesting hijab and religious law

Their names are Hadith Najafi, Ghazala Chelawi, Hanana Kia and Mahsha Mogoi.
All have been shot. Some videos have also surfaced, in which Iranian soldiers
are attacking houses. The outside world is not getting information about the
police action due to internet shutdown.
Bare-headed women were seen in Tehran Square

Iranian authority.
Azin Shekhi, associated with Hengaw, a human rights
organization that works for Kurdish rights, says women are leading the

this is a question of women's lives and freedom. We know that our lives are in
danger, yet we are protesting, because we can no longer tolerate this atrocity.
Protests in support of hijab, death threats to protesters
Radical ideologues rallied against anti-hijab demonstrations
