More than 50 people have died in the firing so far. In Kurdistan, 15 people were killed and around 750 injured in a single day.


Confirmation of killing of 4 women

Human rights activists have confirmed the deaths of 4 women. Their names are Hadith Najafi, Ghazala Chelawi, Hanana Kia and Mahsha Mogoi. All have been shot. Some videos have also surfaced, in which Iranian soldiers are attacking houses. The outside world is not getting information about the police action due to internet shutdown.


Bare-headed women were seen in Tehran Square

Women have come out in the main square of the capital Tehran. Men are also together. Its impact has been seen in all 31 provinces of the country. Women have taken off their hijabs and cut their hair to challenge Iranian authority.


Azin Shekhi, associated with Hengaw, a human rights organization that works for Kurdish rights, says women are leading the demonstrations. They are raising anti-government slogans. A feminist said that this is a question of women's lives and freedom. We know that our lives are in danger, yet we are protesting, because we can no longer tolerate this atrocity.


Protests in support of hijab, death threats to protesters

Radical ideologues rallied against anti-hijab demonstrations in Iran on Friday. He spoke of the killing of demonstrators. President Ibrahim Raisi said that a tough stance will be taken against the demonstrators. After this, the army also said it was ready to crush the protests.


A human rights activist monitoring the situation in Iran told the Bhaskar Group that security forces are committing atrocities in all Kurdish-dominated cities. Demonstrators are being shot. He also showed videos in which police personnel were seen firing at locked houses.


People's anger due to inflation and poverty

Due to the sanctions of America and Western countries, the economic condition of Iran is continuously deteriorating. Inflation rate has increased by more than 50%.
