Lakme Fashion Week and FDCI announce a new lineup of GenNext designers

Lakme Fashion Week (LFW), in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), on Wednesday announced its new lineup of GenNext designers, presented by INIFD, for the upcoming gala to be held from 9th to 9th November. March is scheduled to take place March 12 here. 


Four designers, Hiral Jajal (Hiro), Kunaal Kyhaan (Koytoy), Anugrah Chandra (KoAi) and Rudraksh Dwivedi (Rudraksh Dwivedi)  emerged as  winners of GenNext, one of the most coveted talent discovery programs.

The shortlisted designers presented their collections to a distinguished panel of judges consisting of Harman Dhillon, Vice President Skincare, Color Cosmetics, Hindustan Unilever; Anaita Shroff Adajania,  stylist and creative director for costumes and fashion; Sabina Chopra, Mentor of GenNext, and Jaspreet Chandok, Director of RISE Fashion & Lifestyle. 

Platform to showcase your work and interact with various stakeholders in the industry. “We are delighted to have these emerging designers present their collections and bring their creative storytelling of fashion and beauty to life with Lakme's forward-thinking products, in line with their themes. We look forward to the 35th batch of GenNext designers to be featured at the upcoming  Lakme Fashion Week in collaboration with FDCI," Dhillon said in a statement. 

“We are excited to further strengthen our GenNext program, which identifies, mentores and rewards young designers. Season after season giving them the opportunity to showcase their work on a global platform like Lakme Fashion Week in association with h FDCI.“For more than a decade, the GenNext program has been responsible for showcasing more than 250 designers, some of whom have made a name for themselves in the Indian and international fashion industry.

Our best wishes to the 4 winners who emerged from an extremely talented group of entrants and we look forward to seeing them shine in the industry for years to come,” added Chandok.
