Sanjeev Bhaskar, who played a small role in Notting Hill, said he was "shocked and saddened" when he heard of the director's sudden death.

The "devastated" Jason Watkins, directed by Michelle in The Lost Honor of Christopher Jefferies, said he would be "lost" without his "partners and collaborators."
