In Johnny Depp's social media trial, Amber Heard opens up about 'hate and hates.'

Amber Heard said the "hatred and aggression" she received online during her court battle with Johnny Depp meant there was no "fair portrayal" of the case on social media.

Two weeks ago, a jury said his domestic violence allegations were defamatory and untrue.

Hurd said in her first interview since the verdict that she did not blame the jury for trusting her ex-husband.

They had "heard three weeks of relentless and relentless testimony" about "how unreliable I was," he said.

News released a video interview on Monday, with more airing this weekend.

Support for Pirate of the Pirates of the Caribbean went far beyond Hurd's reliance on social media during the trial, with many of Depp's supporters strongly criticizing him and his credibility. Speaking to NBC, the actress said, "I don't care what people think of me or what judgments you want to make about what happens in my private life in my own home, in my marriage, behind closed doors.

"I do not think the average person should know these things. Also that's why I don't take it personally.

"But even someone who believes I deserve all this hate and anger, even if you think I'm lying, still can't look me in the eye and tell me that you believe there is justice in social media there.

"You can't tell me you think it's fair.

A jury in Fairfax, Virginia, awarded Depp $10.35 million (£8.2 million) in damages after finding Hurd defamed him on the central issue of domestic violence. Hurd said he would appeal.

He won one of his counterclaims against him, giving him $2 million (£1.5 million) in damages.
