Covid: YouTube star Grace Victory "so grateful" for her son's first birthday

Grace Victory gave birth to Cyprus on December 24, 2020, before she fell into a coma due to Covid.

The YouTuber, who gave birth to his son the day before he fell into a coma due to Covid, said he was very grateful to be able to celebrate his first birthday. Grace Victory, 30, from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, asked doctors two months earlier on Christmas Eve 2020 to deliver a Cypriot baby.

The doctors put him in a Christmas coma, and he was there for three months. "I'm more grateful than ever to be here and alive," he said. "The last 12 months have been traumatic, eye-opening, and life-changing at the same time."

On Christmas Eve last year, Ms. Victory had difficulty breathing and told the doctor that the baby would be due soon. "I knew deep down that this was the right decision and that it would work," he said. "My intuition saved him, and I think he saved me then. After that, I fought and fought to get back to him." Ms. Victory is given a 5% chance of survival after suffering multiple organ failure and a heart attack when they try to free him from his coma.

He was told he died within five minutes and the doctors said it was a miracle he survived without brain damage.

After being in a coma for three months, victory's mother is discharged from the hospital. While in a coma, he said that he had some traumatic visions, but he also saw the Archangel Raphael, who had been associated with healing, and flew through the sky.
