The Prince of Wales will announce at the COP26 summit that "war-like action" is needed to tackle the climate crisis. At the opening ceremony of the Glasgow conference, Prince Charles had to call for a "massive military-style campaign" to target global private sector resources.

The prince will become COP26's oldest king after doctors tell the Queen to avoid the summit and rest. The heir to the throne described COP26 as a "last chance salon." Longtime environmental advocate Prince Charles is expected to emphasize the urgency of addressing the climate crisis.

"We need to focus on what can be called wars like wars," he said, calling on world leaders to work with companies to tackle climate change. He had to say, "We need a large-scale military-style campaign to mobilize the power of the global private sector, which provides trillions."

Mr. Bezos is one of a handful of billionaires who have grown their space tourism business. Prince Charles' son, Duke of Cambridge, criticized the business group, suggesting that they should save the earth rather than "trying to find the next place to live."

While the Queen will not be in person at COP26, she will be addressing delegates via videotape. Last month, the Queen appeared to speculate that she was angered by the inaction on climate change, saying it was frustrating when people "talked but didn't do it."
