Andrew Brady, 31, used social media to post threats and harassment at Wootton between February and April last year, Sheffield Crown Court heard.
Brady admitted to harassing the GB News anchor and told him he would "resolve the issue of violence".
He was detained and will be sentenced on Friday.
Brady appeared as a contestant on the The Apprentice in 2017 and was briefly engaged to Flack in 2018.
